Went a bit mad in my absence...

And off course- AMAZING PICTURES!
Yish, you really stir the craving for arboreals... but I am not heading back that route again :)

Yeah, one of my boys thinks we should get one just like Cyan! A chondro probably wouldn't be a smart choice for my SECOND snake! My only hands on snake experience has been courtesy of Sweets, our wee hognose boy!

Actually I don't consider that a factor if you take it seriously and learn prior to purchasing the animal.
I've had a single year worth of experience, with relatively simple animals, when I got my GTP- I handled her very well and she thrived... after a year I sold her because I felt chained... having to mist daily.
She died two weeks after I sold her- the keeper, obviously, did not do his homework before getting her.

Take it seriously enough and you'll be fine.

Wow, Siren sure has turned into a beautiful lady! Cyan ... just gorgeous!
Congrats on Mushu!... very cute.:)

It's good to see you back Elle.:)
I, too, was away, for awhile, (though I made sure to maintain my contributor status & the keeping of my personal forum) before, finally, returning. 'Tis a wee different, than it used to be (before my being gone for a spell), but I guess that is to be expected as people come & go, different things transpire over time, and new people come along too. Still love this forum.

Thanks guys! Its nice to see so many old faces :)

Kathy, I switched to social work after 2 years of nursing, damn I hated human biology LOL!

Chondros are amazing snakes, and definatley not made of glass like some make them out to be. You never really keep a chondro, you maintain a cetain environment and put the snake in there to sit on a stick really. Get the environment right and you should have no issues whatsoever. All mine are clam wee darlings who I handle reguarly (not Mushu obviously as it's still tiny, even smaller than Siren as a hatchling). Just so looking forward to seeing how a red baby progresses! And thanks Mike for shoving that shot up ;)

Those are some of the most beautiful snakes I've ever seen-- I'm fairly new to the snake world, and you just blew my mind. Love them, just gorgeous! Thank you for posting your photography!! ^_^
