That should've said "Went to reptile expo to get some mice...there was no vendor this time, so came home with him instead"...my bad lol!

Rose: He doesn't have one yet! I am having a heck of a time deciding on one...my corns are named after Japanese snake demons, and my rubber boas name means "earthworm" in Japanese...I'm torn on naming him something Japanese (seems to be the snake theme) or something Native American-ish.

Aw, congrats! They are super fun little snakes! Did you have a good time at the show? How was it?

Oh, I'm not sure if you are interested but I started an Idaho reptile group on FB, can PM you the link if you are interested. Had meant it more for Southeast Idaho but there are quite a few on there in the Boise area, in fact one of those members started their own group aimed at the Boise area in particular, you might be more interested in the link to that one. Let me know.

The show today wasn't too bad! It's a small show so I don't usually expect much. The last couple of times we went there wasn't much to be seen really, a couple vendors, that's about it. We usually go on the second day, maybe that's why...but today we went and there were a few more things to look at. No mouse vendors though which they usually have...oh well.

I would definitely be interested in checkin' out your fb group :D

Prediction: you are going to have a new favorite snake.

Chip: That is probably not a lie lol. I have always loved hoggies and thought they were just so freaking adorable! My old roommate had one that she rescued from someone else that she could NEVER get to eat on his own...ever...she had to force feed him every time so she finally gave up and gave him to the local herp society...so THAT made me a bit nervous but the breeder said they were pretty good eaters (altho eating live so will have to make the switch myself)...hope that goes well

My little male hoggie is the single most visible snake we have, always out and about, love that about him! (barring the new GTP who is always visible but doesn't move much)

Good to know! My male corn is out and about a lot for a corn which is fine because I almost never see my female unless I take her out lol...she is starting to peek out but doesn't explore out and about much

I am a huge Sword in the Stone fan (the Disney movie) and a Harry Potter fan (yeah yeah...laugh away :p) So we decided to name him Wort (Sword in the Stone reference), full name Hogwort (keep laughing) lol...
