What happens when you mix Upper Keys with Crimson

carol

Down with the sickness
You get a really varied clutch. Here is one hypo male that looks a lot like his mom.

Here is a pic of him with a Crimson and Miami, he has kind of a faded metallic look to him. I love all them red and silver snakes.

This is Mom (Upper Keys), she is kind of thin in this pic because she had just layed a second clutch of 20!

Big Daddyo (Hypo Miami)
As far as the Upper Keys(het hypo) X Hypo Miami babies, they are sold out I have a few holdbacks that I may sell in a year or so, I just want to see how they develop but I can't keep them all. In the second pic, the Miami and Crimson that are with the male I originally posted, are not his clutch mates. I just put him with them for comparison. I may have a sister of those two available. I'll let you know. Thanks for all the compliments.

They are all beautiful:D How old is the mom (Upper Keys)? We have one that is a yearling and I've been wondering what she might turn out like. Our Violet looks similar to yours and we think she is wonderful:cool:

Please...

Put me on your list for any that become available... as the silver/red/brown snakes are my faves, too.

Right now I have a nice Miami male and a young female. The male is very silver with russet red saddles with dark black borders. The female is a duller grey with brown saddles, also with black borders. I would love to see more miami pics so that I can see the variation available in this form.

Cheers, Mare

I've really gotta stop posting so many pics, but I just wanted to give you an idea how much these guys change. Your little brown one may turn red with time. This is a pic of one of the same snakes after thier first shed (the one next to the amel) as you can see they were very brown and became red over time. It always amazes me to see pipping pics with these outrageously red babies coming out, mine never look like that at first. They sure grow out of thier ugly duckling stage quick though! I think they get it from thier dad. The adult Hypo Miami (pictured above) was very brown and ugly when I got him, if I didn't trust Don S. so much I would have felt very ripped off. And now he is the definition of red.
