So I went to my first reptile show with my Fiancee to pick up a runt from Jenn and ended up with a lav. motley, lav, and the little anery runt. Only spent $75 so cant complain. We also came home with a little orange beardie. Lol no more shows for me. I told my self that i was just going to pick up the runt and nothing else. but it was so hard to say no .Im grounded now no more snakes lol:D I will try to get some pics posted tonight
 
Amazing how quickly you find tag-alongs following you home after a show isn't it? lol

Welcome to the addiction! Now, we demand... errr kindly request pictures of said snakes and critters. =)
 
I feel so bad I missed that show. One reason I was afraid to go was the temptation of buying critters. I can't wait to see pics.
 
I did the same--I went for one snake and came back with two, I got a pastel mot and a ghost. and for 75 for the two!

Thanks for the warning about going to the shows. I've already reached my limit, but my wife says I can go to a show in Tucson at the end of September. Gotta remember NOT to let her see this thread.

The little ones you picked up are very KEWL! For impulse buying, you could have done LOTS worse!

I came home with 4. 2 were planned pick ups of the hypo runt that Jenn hatched and a female ghost motley. I also ended up getting a blood het hypo:Hypo Blood pair that I'm really happy with from another member that was vending. I want to say from Nancy (Greasy Creek??) but the paperwork is on the other side of the room and it's too hot to move.

I considered heavily a very sweet MBK, but I only had room for the 3 right now.

I'll post pics as soon as I can figure out where in the heck I put my camera :headbang:
 
Nancy did have some nice stuff! I am very lucky I came home with fewer snakes than I left with.
I did however pick up some things - a trio of African Soft Fur rats and a cool keychain.
It's so hot here. I ended up giving 4 tanks full of rodents a ride to Salem in the A/C cab of my truck, so I got the ASF for next to nothing!
 
Hooray!! Fewer snakes...So did that guy decide to buy the male Motley?

Very cool about the ASF's. Hopefully they do well for you.
 
No LOL after thinking about it for a while I think he wanted to wait to get it until after he moves.
Did OK though, definitely worth the trip and lots of fun!
 
I still cant believe i got the little lav motley for only $75 he really wanted to get rid of his lavs so he had room for his other projects so he threw in another lav just to get me to buy the motley. So i actually came home with 2 free snakes. score:D
 
yea, you got some nice snakes there, I want a beardie but I think my gecko and one snake are fine with me for right now, plus my mom would murder me if i came home with anything else...
