Is it a Motley/Stripe? Looks like a Motley to me... and for the color it looks like a Ghost... or a Charmal... not really sure... but it sure is nice!

Looks like a ghost motley to me. Too light to be an anery motley, and doesn't look anything like my caramel motley, color wise.

In a total non-expert opinion.....

He looks like a ghost to me. Unfortunately I have neither caramel nor ghost, but from all the pics I've seen on this site he looks like a ghost. And Serp and Jr Nimeskern are experts, so I'd trust them when they say that's a ghost. And, BTW, I saw that you're new to the forum, so welcome!! I'm sure you'll learn a lot by coming here, even if you're an expert at snake-keeping.

I'd say it was a ghost. I'll post a pic of my ghost soon, mine is alot darker but hes just special!! Like serp said, too light to be anery.

I don't consider myself an expert. I think I have a solid understanding of the inheritance of most of the traits, and I'd say a decent grasp on what a lot of things will probably look like. But when it comes to labeling morphs I'm still a student myself.

I got my first corns in 1998, and I've hatched 10 clutches ever. IMO looking at pics and reading can help a lot, and it's a great primer. But it's incredible how much I've learned just by hatching stuff out. No ghost motleys yet, but I did hatch an anery motley and a ghost this year--which I have to say were two unbelievably cool moments, even though these are only mildly interesting morphs to me. :D

Wow, I love the pattern in the first couple of saddles. Those light colored areas are perfect ovals...very pretty! Gotta love those Ghosts

It could be a ghost, but I think it may also be an aneryth A. Alot of the aneryth A motleys and stripes I've produced have ended up that light. I didn't keep any of the motleys but have posted a pic of one of the stripes. I just took some pics of my aneryth motley/stripes, and several of them will probably end up that light as well. I won't get them back from being processed onto a CD for a few days, but look for their pics in the near future.

I'd have to guess ghost too........

Very nice motley you have there! In my humble opinion, it is a ghost. It appears too light to be an anery motley (pair above) and doesn't quite have the right colours to be a caramel motley (yearling below).

BUT, since the motley gene has a 'hypo-like' quality to it, it could be an anery showing the hypo effect of the motley gene. The only true way to know is to breed it to a hypo. But that is the fun of it! Heehee.:)
