What kind of male would cross with mine

I want to breed my corns. I know 2 (my snow & my red rat) are females & have both layed eggs. What would be good to cross them with? Also do you have to pair them OR can you put them both together with the male? I saw a butter Motley & Thought it was beautiful.

I would say go to Kathy Loves website and order the Corn Snake Morph Guide. It has a lot of good information about the genetics of corn snakes, and can help you understand how long it takes to get exactly what you want in your babies.
I know it has helped me a lot in understanding the genetics of the snakes.

Seconding Outcast's advice. The book is a tremendous help and a very easy cover-to-cover read. If you do choose to breed, the pairs should only be put together under supervision, and only in pairs. Don't put both females in and leave the trio together for months. Some breeders do successfully cohab for breeding, but I would not recommend it for your first time. Also know, from my experience, it's not usually as simple as throw them in the bin together, and walla! Many of mine had to be introduced MANY times, over the course of a month or two, before they were receptive. some never bred, some slugged out, hets didn't match up the way they're predicted to, customers SUCK for the most part, and well as much as i loved breeding this year i'm not sure i'll do much of it in the future!

Kathy Love is awesome and her book is pretty much the corn snake bible, also she is a great person and helps me with tips and just anything reptiles very down to earth and is key to learning the ways on the con snake breeding jedi lol

Thank you for the tips. I have spoke with Kathy on the internet a couple times. She was very helpful. My husband and I wanted to go to her place. We were disappointed to hear she no longer lived in Ft Myers. Yes we are going to get the Corn Snake Morph Guide.

What does hets mean?

Heterozygous (carrying one copy a certain gene)
I strongly agree with the previous advice, get the morph guide and read up a bit about genetics before you breed your corns. "What kind of snake would cross with yours" depends largely on these hets.
