These were sold to me as Frosted Corns. But I just wanna know what morph you would call these. They are male and female- the female just laid me 9 eggs. I'm interested to see what you think! The first one is the female- 1st pic is flash off then on-- same with the male.

Can we get any belly shots? First thing I notice is they look motely and on the verge if hurricane motely but I think the light colors may just be deceiving me. If there is no belly checkers I would say the are Motely for sure but for the color type I would say I am still a noob at that. My best guess would be something like Hypo Amel or Frosted Amel. If they where just Frosted Normals I would think there would be more light browns or greys to the color scheme but again I am just starting at the whole identifying snakes deal.

I'm still a bit of a newbie as well, so I can't be of much help, but whatever those are they are beautiful!

Here are some belly shots. First 3 are the female, and last 2 are the male. I'm almost positive they are not motleys even though the males belly is very very hard to see some light opal checkering in places.

In my opinion I do think they are frosted corns, maybe yellow snow frosteds. But I'm not an expert. Best of luck and how gorgeous they are!!

I would personally say frosted snow, but i am not an expert when it comes to frosted morphs.

Beware, some people believe (i think it had a major part in some morphs being frosted) that frosting originated from hybridism.

There are 2 schools of thought on frosted corns. Some are "pure" corn snake and some are corn snake X grey rat snake crosses. The coloration, belly pics and just the general look of your pair make me believe they are the hybrid version. And since you are not sure, it is always best to err on the side of caution and label any offspring at least as "frosted from unknown heritage".

I think that they have too much deep red, or maroon lined around their saddles to be frosted snows. Especiall the male. I honestly don't think that they are hybrids, but you guys could be right. I just know I threw a fit when I seen them and had to buy them!! Their eggs are in the incubator right now. When they hatch I'll put pics up if you guys would like to see them as babies!! I'm excited to see what they will look like. Thanks again for the suggestions!!! I'll keep them in mind!

sinister - there really isn't a morph of corns that is mostly white / cream with maroon borders. Hence, the hybrid conclusion.

The body shape and saddle frequency look like the pair has ratsnake blood to me. The small clutch whispers "rat" as well. They're lovely critters, sinisterserpents. You should get some pretty babies from this pair. Susan's correct that you need to label them as having uncertain lineage, rather than simply as corn snakes.

This was acutally Gypsy's double clutch. She had 23 eggs a few months ago, but they were all bad. I will def. list them as uncertain lineage if I do sell them. I just wish I knew for sure. I've never seen anything like them before. Thanks again for the comments!

I'd say you can be about 95% certain those are NOT pure corns. Better pics would help...but I doubt they'd do anything but change that to ~100%
