What type of snow?

I'm told both my males are snow corns, but I'm not sure exactly what type of snow. Can anyone tell me? I'm looking to breed them. Thanks!

Jungle corn

That would be the second opinion of jungle corn. Is there even a market for that? I don't know how to feel. First my female turns out to be male and now he's not even the corn I bought! Well, he was the first "corn" I ever bought...from a petstore nonetheless.

don't give up yet

I have seen snows with that much color.
Do you have any more photos of it?
It does look like a possible jungle but a few more pictures might help to make
it a little easier to be sure.

More pics of possible Jungle Corn

I hope these are enough. Let me know what you are looking for and I can take more pics if necessary.

The white corn is a snow, there's no question about that.

People are asking to see more pics of the snow with yellowish/orange in it, specifically the head.

I don't know

The light one definitely looks like a snow
The more I look the yellow one just doesn't jump out as a hybrid to me.
Am I wrong in assuming the head shot is of the light snake while the yellow body is the other snake?
A head shot of the yellow one would help.

Head of orange snow -pic

It is the light colored snow that I was told was a hybrid, not the orange snow. If my light colored snow is pure, then would he be considered a coral snow? Is the orange one not a snow? I want the best match for breeding when I buy a female, so coloring is quite the consideration.

The boys live in the same cage, so they are sometimes both in the picture.

The white snake is a snow, no question. Not a hybrid, just a snow, at least in my opinion anyway.

I've never seen anything like the orange one, so I'll have to default to someone else.

Here's a reference of a coral snow for you....

interesting

I may be way off base but after looking at the orange one's head I believe it is a corn/rat mix.
I actually believe it is a corn/grey rat mix.
It kind of has that frosted look from a corn/grey rat mix.
Hopefully someone with a little more experience will look and help clear it up.

Interesting. It's still got a weird orangish coloration to it. I'd really like to know the genetics behind it. I'd like to see Rich or Serp come give their opinion.

Well, I have to say, the first thing I thought of when I saw the head and upper body of that white one was "jungle corn". It just smacks that look to me. And, yes, I did realize that there were two snakes in that picture and that the yellow one did not belong to the white headed one.

That yellow one, I don't know. Could be a pure corn, could be a rat/corn cross, I have not seen any yellowish corns like that but his pattern & color type looks pure corn to me.

But I have to stick by the fact that white one looks like a Jungle Corn to me.

Snows

The "flesh" colored one is a snow. That used to be a very common color of snow corn long ago. Not common today, but exactly like many pure snows I've had in the past.

The lighter one is definitely a hybrid. That light yellow ground color smacks of California king cross. Markings and colors all say it's a jungle corn from California king stock.

Don

Thank You

Thank you for clearing that up Don. There are seriously NO experts in Sacramento. It's nice to have a forum to help me decide where to go with my breeding. I think I'll just sell my hybrid.
