What's Wrong With This Picture??

So I thought toads liked cool, dark, damp places. Mr. Toad, Retired Scenting Toad, must have needed to warm up after his daily soak...

BTW, this is a tortoise enclosure, not a snake viv!!

I got Mr. Toad when I was trying everything to get Addy, the Eastern Hoggy, to eat, and then it was too cold to release him, and I keep thinking, I might need him again some day, and then what if I couldn't find another...(I wouldn't feed Mr. Toad to a snake- just rub pinks on him!) He lives with the tort babies, and soaks in their water dish, (actually, I didn't keep water in there till Mr. Toad moved in) and basks on their log, and usually sleeps on the log on the cool side, but sometimes goes in a hide. He is fed like a snake- put in a feeding bin with crickets and he eats his fill. When I pet him, he tilts to whatever side I touch. He has a lot of personality.
