When will my snow lose her pink?

I have a baby snow albino right now and I know they lose the pink and turn yellow when they're older. What I want to know is how old will she be when she changes? I hate to think of her losing her baby pink too soon.

Isn't it more of the addition of yellow? I don't have a snow, but I have an avalanche stripe, (so snow plus bloodred) (Pepper, if you want to see pics of him) and he started getting yellow in his first year. He's still quite, or even more so, peach or pink, depending on the light.

Not all snows will turn yellow and Nanci is right about it more being an addition of yellow. I have a few snows and an avalanche. The avalanche is a year old and still pink, 1 snow is 2 1/2 yrs old and has some nice pink and peach with strong yellow down the sides, 1 is about 4 yrs old almost no yellow but no pink either, there's the 1 1/2 yr old coral snow thats all pink and last but not least is my 6 month old snow motley which is starting to develop some yellow down her sides. So see..yours may or may not get yellow. LOL It's a fun guessing game aint it?

It is fun. I'm really excited to see how she turns out colorwise. I'm praying for pink, but she's such a wonderful snake I couldn't really hold it against her if she turned yellow. Thanks for your input. :D

My 1 1/2 year old snow has already gained a ton of yellow. I think they get more color as they mature. I love watching there color change as time goes on.

Most likely unless you have a Bubblegum or a Coral, your snow will have more yellow than pink. Even my Bubble gum male has some yellow. :)

Snows just seems to turn a peachier pink as they grow. Here is my 07 snow Andy:

about a year

Beautiful snake. I love that color a lot. Will is stay that peachy color? I'd be happy if mine turned peach and stayed that color when she got older. It's a very fitting color for her. :)

My 3 year old snow has stayed pretty much the same color since I got her about a year an a half ago. She may have even gotten pinker lol

Guin will always be cute, no matter how yellow she turns out to be.
Rio will probably be jealous of her future yellow stripe...haha. :]

I had two adult female snows ( approx. 4and 5 yrs.), One was white and yellow and one was ALL pink and white, just a little yellow around the neck. If she's still pretty pink after about a year she'll probably stay that way, just with some more yellow creeping in with each shed.

I had a snow, which I traded, that stayed white and pink with only a little yellow under the chin. She was a stunner.

Sounds beautiful. :) Pink is just such a great color for a giant snake. haha. I don't even like pink, but on Guintolli it's wonderful.

I also have a snow that is very pink. No yellow what so ever in this snow. I hope that he stays like this too! This one is about 3 months old, his name is Papercut...

If pink is what you're really looking for, your best "guarantee" is:
1. Coral Snow (Hypo Snow)
2. Snow Motley
3. Hypo Lavender, male

It's your excuse to get another one!!

Jeanie, if you ever want another corn that stays pinkish peachy, you might want a hypo lavender next!!!

You guys all rock so hard. :D I'll definitely take all of those morphs into consideration when I buy my next snake. :D This is why I LOVE corns. They're the most exciting snakes out there. :)
