Where To Buy Sphagnum Moss?

Home Depot (and probably Lowes, too) carries a long-fibered sphagnum moss by Mosser Lee. $5 a bag and great quality. The long-fibered is the kind of stuff you would get in a pet store... There's another kind, though I'm not sure what it's called, that's a lot finer--more like soil in consistency.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I discovered that I can use this stuff for all of my following animals: snakes, spiders, tortoise, and leopard geckos. Buying in bulk sure will help a ton! I'll have to look at each place and see what prices are for next paycheck. Yay!

Personally I don't go to the chain stores for brand name moss anymore. If you want high quality, rich, succulent moss at wholesale bulk prices, do what I do and order from Oregon Evergreen & Willamette Evergreen. They ship all over and you will get sooo much more bang for your buck.
