Which is better?

I found a book I want on the internet. Or I should say one of those places you can order a book from around the country. They want a credit card on file for every order I make. I don't like this. How does Paypal work? Is it better?
Lisa wants to get the book for my B-day but I am real apprehensive. :shrugs:

I've never had a problem with Paypal. The only time I filed a dispute on eBay, Paypal made the guy that wasn't going to send me anything refund my money. Paypal also has this new thing, for people who have an account, that is a virtual debit card. It takes your debit card, then when you go to enter it to purchase something, it makes a fake number and verification number, so your real debit card number is never revealed. But just plain old Paypal is fine, too. It's so simple. I have bought hundreds of things with Paypal.

I'm a super-apprehensive kinda guy when it comes to internet purchases and was the same way about deciding whether to use PayPal or not. (Knock on Wood) I haven't had any problems or issues, and am quite relieved at how easy it is to use . . . both ways (buying and selling)!

It's really convenient for sending money privately, too. Need to pay shipping for an Easter snake? All you need is the person's e-mail address- (who has a Paypal account) Paypal does the rest! Cruising a website and decide you need to upgrade to the 2007 edition of Cornsnake Morph Guide? Just click the little Paypal button.
