I stopped at the pet store to pick up some adult f/t mice they had on hold for me, brought them home, and thawed one out to feed to my ghost corn, Breog. When I took it upstairs to her viv, I meant to dangle it in front of her a bit so she'd smell it, as I've done before, but I accidentally bumped her in the nose with it! Well, she took off like lightning under her hide log and RATTLED HER TAIL at me, which she has never, ever, in four years done before. It scared me, but I felt even worse for her. Poor thing. She must not have been too freaked out because she was out about five minutes later chomping down on it, but I felt terrible for having scared her. It was kind of interesting to see her tail rattle though.

*bonks Roy on the head* Treasure used to do the rattle snake thing when he was eating hehe.. its kinda cute =)
