Who's hybrid? Who's pure?

bekers71

What addiction?!
I thought it would be fun to do some comparison pics of a couple hybrid vs pure. It should be pretty easy to tell the difference, unless your not used to spotting hybrids. :)

So to make things more fun for the untrained eyes, the pictures are in black and white first. I'll add the colored ones later. ;)

First two pics should be really easy to spot the hybrid.

Now, for some one who's not used to seeing hybrids this pair might be a tad harder.

I am looking at head shape and keeled scales. It’s not fair to use boas in the pictures however.

Tricky tricky. Black and white does make it harder. I'm going to say the darker one in picture 1 and 2 is the hybrid and lighter one in pics 3 and 4 is also the hybrid. I could be very wrong though, but what the heck I thought I would try.

I'm with Stephen on the first pair of snakes. Neither look pure.
I agree with Skip on the second pair the light one is the hybrid.

In the first and second picture I'd say the hybrid is the one with the stripe right behind it's head. In the third and fourth picture it is the one towards the top of the 4th picture.

That's my guess Now I want to know, lol.

Ok...
The top pic the the dark one is pure (ratsnake?) and the lighter one is hybrid.
The bottom pic the darker one is pure corn and the other is the hybrid.

Jen you are too good. LOL

The darker one in the top two pics are pure albino black rat. The lighter one in one of my amel beast from last year.

As for the other two...well the colorful one, bottom head of the last picture, is pure corn (avalanche). The really light one with white eyes is my snow beast from last year. :)

How about I add some color....

In the first two pics the head of the darker one seems "off" for a corn... so he's not pure corn or he's completely ratsnake.

The second set... I have no idea...

OOPS! You already answered. Sorry I missed!

Becky!
