I spotted this guy trying to get down from that curb, so I ran for the camera and managed to save him from the wrath of a speeding Ford pick-up. I think it's just a Florida Cooter, but I'm not that great with turtle ID. He's happily back in the creek now.
 
Nice pics! I can't tell if that's a red belly or a cooter. Florida turtles have strange names. Egg laying season- maybe it's a she, looking for the perfect place.
 
I like how he looks like he's looking both ways before crossing the road. Alot of good that did it! :grin01:
