Why I Don't Have A Blood Python, Reason Number Two!

I think I started a herper meme. I still can't look at it and go cringe.

Also, it is a real photo. The owner of that blood can be found here, and their last activity date is today.
Here is the original thread for the picture. XD

hah, i have definitely seen some massive-in-relation-to-the-snake poos, but that one is HUGE!!!!

one of our ball pythons had eaten 3 LARGE rats for 3 weeks consecutively. i guess somewhere in there he also went into blue (and as y'all know, sometimes they like to hold it when they're going to shed!), and after his shed there was a piece stuck to the tip of his tail so we bathed him. he swam around for about 10 minutes and then stopped. and LET ME TELL YOU

NOTHING could have prepared us for the events that were about to unfold! lol. the poop was LITERALLY half the size of our snake! he looked like a skinny and deflated momma snake after laying eggs!

it really is amazing what can come out of these critters sometimes.

and Nanci, that photo is HILARIOUS! i like the 2nd caption the best!

HOLY CRAP!!! Literally.

I never once thought it was fake, there's no way someone could transport that poop and lay it in the tank like that without it all falling apart and it wouldn't look so "neat and tidy" haha.

That's nasty but it also makes me realize I shouldn't be complaining about cleaning corn, beardie and leo poop....LOL it could be much worse!

I can't stand the smell of Ella (my Bearded Dragon) when she poos. She stinks up the entire house.

Don't you love it when they do that right before someone comes over? "It wasn't me, it was the dragon!!" "Yeah, sure it was..." I always try to get Isabel to go in the bathtub. So much easier.

I don't know, reputation for biting?

Actually, although I am 52, I was going for the Number Two, get it?? hahaha? juvenile aspect...

Apparently some bloods are pretty docile. From what I found on BP.net, they vary a LOT.

Luuuul, number two... :toiletgra

Well, I have had first hand experience with blood python poops and that picture isn't far off. It's pretty much on the money. They poop WAY less often than other snakes, but my god, they are HUGE. I have a great dane and the poop from a smallish 3 year old blood was much bigger!

Crazy eh?

Rebecca

My experience as well.

I've been keeping them for close to 10 years now and that is typical of a blood. The hold it in for quite a while and then one day...bam! There it is in one big mess. Mine will eat 3-4 times before they give me a present sometimes.

I thought of a funny one this morning, but I can't remember it!!

I was surprised the first time I saw my Ball Python's BM. I was like "where did that come from??"

^ BP poop seems fine to me. However, laying in bed trying to sleep and then hearing one of them drop a duce is another thing.

Best one so far Nanci.
