To go along with the "Scary food" thread. What is the weirdest thing youve eaten?

Me, a cricket(in a sucker, it was gross), rattlesnake, fried snapping turtle(yum) and other then deer and rabbit thats about it.

DIsclaimer: I was a kid and my dad was the redneck so dont get mad at me please.

I know people eat these alot, but for me the weirdest thing was big fish eggs--they were about the size of a small marble & you could feel it pop & gush salty juice in your mouth--I was gagging to keep it down :p

Dog treats... Always taste them before giving them to the pups!
Sea Urchin, octopus, fish eggs, sea cucumber. Sushi restaurants
Cow Tongue- ate it before knowing what it was..
Bats - We actually have a restaurant here in Tampa that serves Fried Bats! Taste like anorexic Chicken
Goat - in Jamaica
Durian Fruit... VOMIT! YUK!!!
Kangaroo and snake- Australia
The occasional bug that I manage to accidentally suck down while outside sometime

A sour cream and onion flavored cricket..

I try all the cookies I give my horse too. But those usually are not too bad.
I also tried kitten and cat food because the cats always choose kitten food, so I wanted to see why.

Eww the fish eggs sound disgusting, I cant do slimy or anything that pops like that in the mouth.I forgot about goat.My mom raises meatgoats and makes the best goat sausage ever.
Ive never been outside the US, well kinda, IVe been over the border into Baja mexico.

Hmmm... Let's see...

I've had alligator, frog, shark, (foodfeast)

I've had dog treats, dog food, dog toothpaste (dare...)

I've had misquito (accident)

and Lastly I've eaten deer tongue. (I didn't know under afterwards!)

I've had the usual strange stuff...caviar, sushi of all types, alligator, frog legs, lamb tongue.
In New England we eat things that would make most midwest people squirm.
Clamcakes, I love them. But think about it, whoever thought to fry clams in batter like that and squish it into balls?
Cherrystones on the half shell, I LOVE those. I was raised on them!
My dad grew up on the Long Island sound, on the water. At lunchtime he would take a clam rake and a pocketknife in the water and eat the clams right there on the beach. I never had the opportunity to do that, but thank goodness restaurants around here serve them!

Cow tongue is no big deal for me. My mom makes "Tacos de Lengua" wich in translation to english means "Cow Tongue Tacos". They are soooooo gooooooood!
I've had aligator, shark fin soup, rare sushi/caviar (Love itttt), Frog legs, Octopus (Love it as well!), fried grasshopers with garlic and lime (Love that too!), Cow intestine tacos (groosss! And so much fat and oil.. its nasty)
I'd eat any type of seafood (as long as its edible)
I also want to try snake just because I'm curious :)
I've probably have eaten more things, I just cant think of them right now...

I had a Lollypop that a friend brought back from Texas that had a Scorpion in it...that was odd...

When I was in Japan I was handed something that looked somewhat like beef jerky....it was dried salted strips of seaweed. Not good :(

I feel so...out of the loop. I think the strangest thing I've had are rat Yogies. They're these little yogurt drops for pet rats, and the rats always liked them so much, so I tried the berry ones. They taste kind of like berry, not too bad!

I'm game to try pretty much anything once. You never know what will strike your fancy.

Chicken Feet
Hissing Cock Roaches
Goliath Worms
Earthworms
Crickets
Superworms
Sashimi (that's the raw stuff) of all kinds
Kimchi
Haggis
Rodent Chow
Pretty Bird Pellets
Frog legs

Kangaroo
Horse meat (Canada)
Rattle Snake
Eel
Snapping Turtle
And probably a ton of other things that I've chosen to forget.
