Wierdest thing youve ever eaten?

0Well, seem this thread got a little sidetracked lol.

There are a lot of different things that I would be willing to try, just haven't had the opportunity for them (different bugs and just the type of stuff you find in say an oriental street vendor market)

As far as things that I have tried would go:
Beef Tongue
Tripe
Turkey testicles
Oysters on half shell (weird to some)
Sashimi of all sorts including Uni and octopus
Squid
Grape leaves (in dolma)
Roe
Alligator
Rattlesnake
wild bear

I always wondered why they dont use the dogs and cats they put down from shelters to feed animals in zoo's?
I once heard they recycled them back into dog food but im pretty sure that isnt true.

BTW, turkey testicles have to be one of the weirder things on this thread.I mean they have to dig around in the turkey to find them dont they? LOL

I dunno lol, but they're actually pretty tasty, they have them at our local baseball park marketed under the name "fowl balls" lol

Alligator meat and Frog. And I had Ostrich steak once, too.
I would never eat Alligator again, but it did taste good, sort of like Fat Back Pork, if you're a fan of southern cooking haha.
And the Ostrich meat was freaking savory. I mean, mind blowingly delicious. But I don't think I'd eat that again, either.

I sort of have something against eating exotic animals, I mean I hardly eat meat as it is lol.

It's more likely I'd eat frog again, though. It wasn't half bad, and especially here, if anything ever happened and the food supply were ever cut off, (Let's say zombie apocalypse!;)) I know I could live happily and heartily off of the giant freaking frogs here. I also know from years experience I'm pretty freaking good at catchin' em, too!

Fowl Balls!!!LOLOLOL!!

You know they used to have an ostrich farm here and its gone.I never even tried it either..I regret that now.

Was the Kangaroo good.

I don't have may opportunities to eat odd food but there are somethings I've tried

Coyote (yucky)
Red Squirrel (taste like grouse)
African Lion (meh)
Pine Needles
Fried Perch eggs (very good)

A lot of wild games but I don't consider that weird. I won't eat carnivores anymore though except for bear sausage.
