Worming Our Way Through Life

Worm is a beautiful little corn we had gotten in at work who had quite the reputation. Over the 6 months we had this little one she had escaped not once, not twice but 5 times! Twice she was caught on a sticky trap for crickets. Silly little noodle! Finally I adopted our little trouble maker. She had hardly eaten in her time in the store due to her escaping. She is a docile little thing who seems to like being held. Silly little girl even investigated my face with her little tongue. It tickles!

Oh I love it when I feel their flicky to tongues. Looking forward to your updates as worm grows. That's on special little snake!

She's adorable! If that Kritter Keeper is her home for now you might want to weigh or tape down the lid. Looks like she's already working her way out! What a little handful. It's always the prettiest who seem to give us the most trouble. ;)

We have officially had her 2 weeks now and everything seems to be going well. Oddly enough I'm still the only one in the house who knows she is here....and I'm not even trying to hide her or anything like that. Worm is in plain sight! XD

In our 2 weeks though we have removed a very troublesome stuck shed from her tail and just before we started that I have never had a snake make me smile so much. While preparing a container for her to soak in Worm slithered up my face and rested part of her body on top of my head and the other part in my glasses. Silly snek!

This is her current home but work is always being done to make it cooler and better for her. I hope to turn it into a literal slice of nature.

Thankfully the Kritter Keeper isn't really her home but while I'm on vacation she will have to stay there for a few days while a friend looks after her. In the picture I hadn't had the lid on all the way yet and she knew it!
