I musta really been out of it, cause I forgot Rodney Dangerfield! And for the record, Dane Cook is a hack as a comedian...decent comedic actor though.

For some reason I just knew somebody, not necessarily you, would make a comment about Dane Cook . . . funny is still funny.

Well, I don't watch much stand-up comedians, but I do like funny people, so my list is going to be a bit different! lol

Here they are in no particular order:

Robin Williams
Chevy Chase
Gene Wilder
Mel Brooks
John Candy
George Carlin (What little I have seen of him!)
Richard Prior
Monty Python (Does it count if they are a group!?)
Rick Moranis (Yes I had to look that up to spell it correctly)
and of corse, I cant forget
Jeff Foxworthy

Now I am sure I left a few off of there, but that covers most of them.

Jenn

Richard Pryor
George Carlin
Bill Hicks
Robin Williams
Ellen DeGeneres
Mitch Hedburg
Gilbert Gottfried (especially when he's bombing; he takes an "all bets are off" 'tude)
Lewis Black
Robert Klein (the original Seinfeld)
Albert Brooks
Dana Carvey
Dom Irerra
Doug Stanhope - not the "Man Show" sell-out stuff, though...he's absolutely FEARLESS on stage
Paula Poundstone
Rodney
Larry Miller
Billy Crystal
Seinfeld
Kevin Pollak

....and quite a few others. If I'd studied the financial page as much as I did comedians, I'd be retired by now.

regards,
jazz
