to collaborate on a kids' book about snakes with DD's my little python blog characters teaching some basic facts. The goal would be that this would probably be released as a free e-book with a print on demand option (po, and possibly, if it goes over well in initial release, continue the series with the goal of donating proceeds to someone that focuses on snake conservation/education. (We have about 12 options there-and I'm sure there are more good organizations out there-everything from the TX rattlesnake festival to USARK to the Orianne Society to the Center for SNake conservation...)

We'd like a few great snake photos to go along with Alli's cartoons/drawings (which will include the frog characters as well). Obviously, all photographs would be credited to the creator.

I think it would just be general snake photographs of normal behavior, and could be captive snakes quite easily. The outlined topics so far include snakes smelling with their tongues, that most snakes aren't venomous, how snakes act when scared, that some snakes lay eggs and some have live babies, what kinds of things snakes eat, and so on.

Basically, the goal is supposed to be for the snake character to teach the frog character (and the kids) a little bit about snakes and to go back to the "snakes are good friends to have, that pet snakes are great, that wild snakes should be left to go about their business, that neither pet snakes nor wild snakes want to hurt people, and so on.
