WSCC Scaleless Corn ~ Round Two !!

Walter Smith

CRAZY BOUT' CORNS !!
Many of you may remember my excitement, follow by misfortune on my first Scaleless Corn earlier this year,
Here ---> http://www.cornsnakes.com/forums/showthread.php?t=136542&highlight=Scaleless

Well as it mentions somewhere in that thread, I had a second clutch from the same pairing.
There were 4 good eggs in round two of which only two of them made it full term.

Here is what one of those two eggs contained !!! :dancer:
So far this one seems it's going to be just fine. Of course I still need to go through the shed process and feeding,
but I'm way ahead of where I was on the first round ANNNNND, it's a MALE to boot !!! :crazy01:

Thanks, I've been trying the past few years..............LOL

Unfortunatly, I don't think my adult het female is 100% fertile. If you ready the thread that I provided the link to in the OP, you will see what I'm talking about.

I'm just so relieved to finally get one, especially with what happened earlier this season on the first round with these adults :awcrap:

I'm with you though, I can't wait for this little guy to get to breeding size. The good thing is, males don't need to be all that big to successfully breed ;)

Neat, I'm glad you got at least one. Is it also a morph?

Thanks !!

Not 100% sure, but it's possible. The parents do carry a few different hets, but the two they have in common is Caramel.
Matter of fact, I believe the Sire to be a visual Caramel, but never bred him to a actual Caramel to test him.

The head color suggests it, but not so much the body.
Then again, from what I understand some color morph Scaleless Corns do hatch out looking a bit different than their scaled counterparts.

Guess we just gotta see how he develops.

From what I understand the husbandry for Scaleless Corns is like any other Corn Snake.
