Within the year or so I will be starting my two largest projects on my college house. One is to complete the solarium in-progress project that is attached to my house and my second is to build a 9 foot tall, 7 foot long slice of rainforest paladarium in my living room.
After I've been working at the zoo so long in the herp center I just can't wait to have my own similar Anaconda exhibit where there's a running waterfall, river that leads to 300 gallons of water at the very least where African Sideneck turtles and Oscar cichlids live.
I have been searching on the web for quite some time and I've see little vivs set up of rainforests for dart frogs but not one that would house a large Rainbow Boa or such a large snake. Mostly the cages I've seen are either bare tanks with misters or rack systems for when they get bigger. I understand that's easier but it seems so cramped and unfair for the snake.
My little guy is going to grow big, maybe not so soon, but I know his 55g won't be enough for him when he is bigger in a couple of years.
If anyone has any examples or links of large vivarium I would be very happy to see them.
