Yellow Rat Snake

The other day I found one of the neighbohood cats trying to eat a small yellow rat and being a herp lover i had to rescue him. He has a few small cuts on him but other than that he seems to be healthy. I got him to eat a small wild-caught lizard today. I have the cage steup with a climbing stick, water bowl, and hide box, with a temperature gradient of about 85-75. Is there anything wrong with my setup or should it be good for the snake?
Thanks!

He should have two hides, one on the cool side and one on the warm side. Other than that he sounds fine! Care is identical to corn snakes.
