You Know You're Having A GOOD Day When...

i was reading the Bad Day thread and it made me has a sad, so i thought i'd make the Good Day thread!

my good day is 3 DAY WEEKEND, sushi for dinner, and having a night to myself to indulge in junk food and girly music! maybe even some makeup and a photoshoot with my slithery serpents

When you've proved you stumbled upon a pet store rat who has inheritable large litters. :3 (Now if I could figure out a way around the pregnancy and litter aggression)

When you give up looking for the most expensive knife you have ever bought and just randomly look down and there it is :)

When you are sitting at home, sulking and being lonely, then all of your pets pile on top of you....making you laugh so hard you almost pee your pants.

And can I just say, that is no easy feet when you have 2 cats, and 3 dogs...one of which is a 145lb Great Dane!

@SquamishSerpents: Of course it is always the last place you look. You wouldn't keep searching after you found it, right? Lol :D

For mine: I got my new power cord so I'm back on my pretty pretty laptop instead of my 13 year old desktop (who I love beyond belief for still working after all these years, if by the growth of a tree).

haha i know, that's why i said it. i believe it's a Mitch hedburg joke.

ALSO Mitch Hedberg made everything better, everyday, all the time.

Hah! I can relate! My late Borzoi had a 6th sense when it came to my moods. If I was feeling down she'd get all goofy and do something really corny to get me to laugh. I swear she was a comedian re-incarnated. My current dog thinks its funny to bark in my face when I'm having a migraine! ( Don't ever teach a silent dog to bark! It will backfire! ) Spirit doesn't have the sense of that humor Chessie did. SIGH! I miss that dog!

When you find the right morphs in the right genders from someone all in one deal. And can get the deal done before everyone else so your breeding dreams can happen.

Even better when they arrive. :D
Thanks Em

Every day is a good day now that I have Mango home with me! She's my sunglow (hypo? I don't know! I need that morph guide.) motley. :D

When you pull out a coat you haven't worn in awhile and discover a few dollars in the pocket you forgot you had. That happens to me fairly often but it was an especially GOOD day that one time recently that I found a 50 that I'd mislaid!

I don't know whether this is good or bad, but here it goes:

Bringing a tub to the warehouse knowing there is a nest of wild mice there. Then finding them in a $1500 rug that they've chewed on. Three or four escape, but managing to catch five and then finding one in a 22,000 sq foot warehouse and successfully catching it. Then having the same mouse evade you seven times in the office (smart little poo he is). And then hoping to find them all before the eat the poison, knowing that the pretty mom all ready probably ate the poison and is dead somewhere. Which is sad. But six babies (hopefully seven if I can ever catch the one in the office) have been saved, assuming they haven't eaten poison too.

Yea, my personal dog (the other two belong to my mom) likes to lay his head either on my chest if I'm laying down or in my lap, because he knows he's too big to fit on my lap anymore. And my cat, er...kitten I should say (only 7 months old) thinks she's helping by laying on my face. lol Donatello wraps himself around my neck and just stays there, for hours on end sometimes. What I would do without my pets I have no idea.

When you feel inclined to help someone (anyone) out of the goodness of your own character.

I try to do that every day :)

Update: I managed to catch that tricksy little mouse. Only took all day. There are still two female adults (I think female anyway). They'll probably get poisoned by the time I come back on Wednesday.

You know you're having a good day when....

You get a new pair of snakes, and the seemingly sweet male decides your wrist is a mouse. Of course, you're not looking at his head and are surprised to feel a couple rows of teeth in your wrist.

I've got to stop using that mouse-flavored soap when I shower. :D

Haha, this! I love it when this happens.

You know you're having a good day when you come home from a bad day at work and your bird is being on his best behavior, preening you and wanting so many cuddles and loves. <3

Or when you come home to see that your tarantula has FINALLY MOULTED. She took her dang time!
