Youngstown, OH first reptile show yesterday..

First ever show yesterday, several vendors, light attendance - but little publicized; we found it by accident.

Good for all of us if this new show picks up steam as it fits in nicely between show dates at Pittsburgh and shows in Cols and Cleveland.

Vendors had lots of corn babies and more adult corns than I recall seeing between past Pittsburgh and Cleveland shows that I have attended.

FYI and FWIW; the next Youngstown show is supposed to be Sept 29th.

Will be interesting if the pace picks up; the show "producer" was charging $40.00/table to try and stay even with the Cleveland show. Not a great idea to kick-start a venue, especially on the Daytona weekend.

Meanwhile, the well-established Cleveland show is this coming Sunday for those of you in this part of the world.

It was at a Rodeway Inn just off of an I80 exit - 229 - in Girard, OH - which is an adjacent suburb a stones throw north of Y-town.

I was told about it and told to Google for it; found this:

Not to sound like a shill for the show, it's just that local reptile shows benefit all of us as consumers; for affordable F/T, dry goods, etc, - and as reptile fans; who doesn't want to spend hours handling all kinds of cool corns, kings, milks, etc, and finding that special acquisition?

Like I said; I hope it takes off and the show thrives as well as the Cleveland and Pittsburgh shows as these are easiast for me to hit.
