YOUR avg. clutch size 08'

Well, I'd like to do a poll, but I don't believe there would be enough answer slots, So I'm doing this instead:

What is your AVERAGE CLUTCH SIZE (# of eggs per clutch) for the 2008 season so far? How many clutches? How many slugs?

I think the best way to write it would be:
I have 39 eggs total.
with 0 slugs.
from 3 clutches.
with an average of 13 eggs.
So I would be :

39.0.3.13

Does this make sense?

OK, At first I thought there was some grand bubble bursting going on but after careful review AND various secret formulas and tabulations, I've concluded that the end of joejr14's numbers
35.0.2.17.5
specifically the -17.5 equals 17 and a half eggs per clutch! Si'?
Maybe we should round up ( .5 or > goes up) making Joejr14's avg. 18.

Okay, I hope I've got this right...
287.6.20.14
I've still got first clutchers laying and second clutchers in the pipeline (one layed today).

That would be correct. One clutch was 18, the other was 17. Numbers usually end up falling around 15 for the year.

As of today.
1823.25.150.12
The average is scewed a little with some of our small Pueblan clutches. Not complaining though.lol.

Amazing that out of 150 clutches you've only had 25 slugs!
NO DOUBT!!! Some have gotten almost that many in just one clutch.

This clutch average
so far for me its 75.02.03.25
from Jeff Linkchorst is awesome...
Are you giving your boys Viagra Jeff?:bang:

Why not just follow the rules of rounding that have been in mathematics for hundreds (thousands?) of years? As we should already know, you always round to the even integer when you have a "point five." Duh! 16.5 rounds to 16, but 17.5 rounds to 18. That way, there is no bias towards ALWAYS rounding
up when you hit a number that is exactly halfway between two integers.
