But of course, Anyone is more than welcome to use the " hundreds/thousands year old mathematics rounding rule" if they so choose, this isn't rocket science after all...( or is it ?) :laugh01:Why not just follow the rules of rounding that have been in mathematics for hundreds (thousands?) of years? As we should already know, you always round to the even integer when you have a "point five." Duh! 16.5 rounds to 16, but 17.5 rounds to 18. That way, there is no bias towards ALWAYS rounding
up when you hit a number that is exactly halfway between two integers.
Where on Earth did you find this???"Anyone who cannot cope with mathematics is not fully human. At best he
is a tolerable subhuman who has learned to wear shoes, bathe and not
make messes in the house." -- Lazarus Long, "Time Enough for Love", (Robert
A. Heinlein)
