Here are some pics of my Tri-Hoggy, Pineapple- I mean Zee. I thought this was going to be such a great photoshoot, but the light was too harsh, so I moved him to the tree, but then it was too shadowy. Despite getting good tongue in about 30% of my 100 pictures, I'm a little disappointed...

Thanks Dean. I'm buying a hook for him- Pineapple! He totally lunges for me on feeding day, or what he hopes will be feeding day, and there isn't enough room in his viv what with the vines and branch and all to really stretch him out and avoid his head, so as I was getting him out to feed a few days ago, and caught myself drawing his strikes with his hide, I thought, enough is enough...Once he's out, he's ok.

Today, as I'm downloading the pics, I have him in my left hand. Can't set him on the desk or he lunges for typing fingers. So he does this thing, where he twitches, like a lot, and I am so lame (Pineapple!) that every time he twitches my hand squeezes him (gently) in reaction, so he twitches more, and pretty soon he's getting "excited" if you know what I mean, and starts that rippling belly thing. He's the strangest snake ever.

Zee is such a pretty snake..even if he is strange.

Oh, Nanici just tell you i might be getting a Tri-Hoggy this year if John(the guy who bred out all my snakes except my dumeril's and my snow corn) can get eggs and he can get one to eat well...he said i'll be the first person he tells when he has one for sale...which means i'm going to have to start saving my money so i can afford it when its here.

Yes, you did tell me. I don't think they are usually difficult to get eating. You should feel Zee- he's, I guess, 16-18 inches long- really need to measure him, but he weighs nearly 80 grams!

LMAO... Every time I read you saying "pineapple" I just laugh out loud. My girls were asking what I was laughing at. I will NEVER forget Ross and Steve. That was too funny, and listening to you say (or type) it just brings back all the laughter once again..

Btw, Zee is a beautiful snake!
 
Ya know, You should put a link to that video clip in your signature. So those who don't know about "Pineapple" can have a good laugh and then REALLY appreciate when you say PINEAPPLE!...lol
 
That would be cool- but I don't know how to put a URL in my signature but have it say "Pineapple" but link to that URL.

Help. If anyone knows how to do that, here's the URL http://tinyurl.com/3aplwd and I would like the link to read (Pineapple) so if you put the html here, then I could copy it! Or I could read my HTML book when I got home...

Zee is beautiful :) I am at my whits end with hoggies atm so I couldn't possibly face another right now :p

Nice photoshoot too... I know you have the same camera as me, slightly higher resolution, but what settings do you use on an outdoor shoot like that? Mine always come out wishy washy :(
 
I use the Flower Best Shot, and anti-shake. And three-in-a-row highspeed repeat shots.

At least he eats!

figured out how to add the link to your signature.
bring it up in your explorer. the copy and paste it to your signature.

Here's the code for linking the url to the word pineapple:
[-URL=http://tinyurl.com/3aplwd]Pineapple[/URL] (minus the '-' from after the first bracket)

When using the full (or advance) reply method you just click on the button that has a blue globe and a link and when it opens up the tiny window you type the word you want the link tied to and click ok, next you add in the url click ok again, and it automatically places the appropriate code into the reply.

It will work the same way on the signiture too. Hope that helps.
