. . . Week in Review Authors and Alternates!

Anyone interested in becoming a Week in Review author or alternate needs to simply send a PM of 1000 words or more indicating their love for cornsnakes and why that love would make them a great contributor to the week in review . . . Okay, not really! :D

Just shoot me a PM if you'd like to be added to the list. We've had a few weeks now during the summer where one author "disappeared" without communication and another (Bronwen) that came up with computer problems which happens! I'm a wreck whenever my computer has ended up down-and-out so I understand.

Here's the "expectations": http://www.cornsnakes.com/forums/showthread.php?t=67347

This isn't a high-pressure responsibility, but the CS.com community has come to expect and really enjoy their WIR threads. I would most likely start people that are interested as alternates and over time put them into the regular rotation of writers.

Let me know if you're interested! :wavey:

A little :-offtopic , but it is just my opinion that since this was Elle's idea (baby) from the get go she should be the one who is responsible for making sure a W.I.R. is posted. If there is a week when someone who is scheduled to do the W.I.R. drops the ball for any reason she should be the one who makes sure one does get posted. Since she was the person who originally came up with the idea of a W.I.R. she bares the most responsibility to make sure one is posted every single week. No? :shrugs: As I said, this is just my opinion. Sorry if I took away from your original post Brent.

Jay, if you haven't noticed my organizational skill are much to be desired. If it were not for Brent helping with the WIR It would be a complete mess. I get confused and flustered easily when it comes to dates and numbers and time tables etc. I simply coulnd't manage this on my own...

I was thinking, maybe have some way that we can contact someone offline in case of computer issues. That way that person can get things done, or contact someone who can?

Do we have our four regulars, Brent? I think us four have all been at least logged in within the past 24 hours? Or did someone listed there drop out?

I'm really glad to see we have volunteer alternates...I was beginning to worry about what was going to happen if/when I go on maternity...

Not quite sure what you're asking, but yes, there are four alternates and four "regular" writers. I did have Bronwen as a "regular" writer, but just moved her down to an alternate because I was unsure when her computer issues would be resolved. I shoulda figured it would be the day after I updated and changed dates/names for the author schedule!! Go figure! :D

LOL! Isn't that how it always is? I'm here full time with a gaurentee that I can post on time from now on if you want (unless something major happens). I've got my pc fixed, and after this week, the bf can bring his laptop home from work, so I have a backup.
