WIR - "Author" schedule

Week in Review (aka WIR) threads are done on a voluntary basis. The purpose of the WIR is to give a synopsis of the previous week in the hopes all visitors, but especially infrequent visitors, will be able to “catch up” on the week’s happenings at CS.com! It is not required, but it is recommended, the WIR thread contain pictures, new members list, birthday lists and interesting threads of discussion from the previous week. Individual authors may include additional material as they see fit.

*Week in Review threads will cover Sunday through Saturday of the previous week.
*Week in Review threads will be posted preferably the Monday of the following week. (Could be posted Sunday through early Tuesday.)
*Regular contributors will be responsible for creating and posting their WIR thread each week.
*If a regular contributor finds themself unable to create a thread for their assigned week, they are responsible for contacting an alternate from the list below.
*If a regular contributor fails to post, or contact an alternate, for their week more than once, they will be moved to the alternate list and the top listed alternate will be moved into a regular position.
*I reserve the right to alter the order of contributors on occasion to change things up a bit.
*As with anything voluntary, if you don’t like it, you don’t have to do it . . . or read it!!

The Week in Review schedule of authors has been changed. Not sure if Elle is posting this week's . . . yet . . . but changes have been made and noted to the remaining schedule. Robbie is taking over Elle's spot, and Des I've put you in for the week Robbie was scheduled.

You're right Elle. I'm sorry. When I order a cheeseburger from McDonald's, I love waiting 30 minutes until they give it to me. I get it, it's semi-warm, it's food, but I love the wait the most. Makes it that much more special.

You can be upset about it if you like, but the WIR has become something CS.com expects . . . on time. Your WIR posts have habitually come 2-3-4 days late, and this isn't the 2nd or 4th time. Don't kill the messenger please. If it was that important to you, you wouldn't need a special reminder.

You know what Brent, since you seem to be in charge around here why not just count me out of the WIR. Yes it was my original concept and idea for CS.COM which I brought to life on my own for a while, but the work was too much. Now it's just not fun anymore. So for now, I am out until I have more time to commit to it properly.

I really don't appreciate the patronising manor in which you have posted either, but that's an entirely different matter.

As for the snarky emphasis on special, lets get one thing straight. I need constant reminders to do everything and anything in life. I have procrastination skills above all others. It's not that I don't want to do things or that they aren't important, I simply forget or brush it to one side and will do it when I get round to it. I'm the same in work, uni, at home, with the snakes, with my friends and family. My mothers says I am so laid back I am practically horizontal. So don't you dare try to call me out for the one bit of help I have asked for which would get this job done efficiently.

Just a reminder that if you find yourself in a pickle and can't do your week, please contact an alternate before your week is due! We're all adults here, and I don't really feel as though I need to remind anyone so a double check or three for your week may be a good idea too!!
