  • Wow! Two weeks? Sounds like you might need more than a hello, D? LOL! Are you happy to be home, then? ;)
Yep we did OBX as well...Duck, Kittyhawk, Corolla...loved it! Last year we went to Fripp Island, ever heard of it?
OK! They're both males. I'll keep you updated. I'm jealous What beach? We're going to Topsail Island in NC around mid August, can't wait to do some surfcasting. Have fun, use sun protection heh heh!
Hi Danielle. Well I finally got them fed and photo'd. They didn't all eat the first time and that didn't suprise me considering how plump they all are to begin with, never had a clutch out of egg like this one. You're in luck I was pretty male heavy so If you want to pick one and an alternate ( just in case, although I really expect them all to eat) before I list them that would be great and I'll hold those two back when I go to list all that have eaten thrice. I'm holding on to the greyhead for now, probable female...she kept pooing on me.
Sorry Daniel, I've been busy they're just about done shedding, a few left and I'll get pics Sat or Sun for ya. The last and biggest egg was a DIE and before that I hatched out a sweet all grey head, then the tongue came out kinda sideways so we'll see if it eats. I think it ended up being 9 bloods and 8 hets.... odds pretty much worked out right! After you pick do you want to wait for three feeds (standard) or the one?
Yes, I think the ratio is about right, couple of sweet looking ones. I can't believe how full and healthy they look ( to me) like they've already eaten a few times! Still two eggs to go and one DIE.
So far I have 2 bloods and 5 normals out of the eggs, they're taking their time, they are coming out very plump and healthy looking, I haven't sexed any yet. I usually wait until they're all out.
It is slowly getting better...I usually just smile now when I think of him, anyway I've got one pipppie out so far, it's a normal, the clutch should be 50% bloods, fingers crossed, pics when they all come out!
Thanks for the thoughts...I's like that male if you want to trade him for the pic of the females bloods ( fingers crossed) I have a probable female and I'm getting an olive adult female and a gold juvie female as well on Tues: I have hatched out Ambers, Butters and Caramels all het for each other. Both lavenders clutches went bad and my mixed motley girls clutch that I thought was gravid didn't produce?
Aww, I love the name Zeus...we actually almost gave that name to Ivan because my lab's name is Zoe. It's a hard day today for me, but my kids are strangely unaffected today. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. Matthew found a clump of Ivan's fur and we put it in a ziplock so we can always have a part of him with us. It's heartbreaking to lose an animal, but especially one that's been with you for so long. I'm so glad Henry came to your lives. What a cute name, too!

Give him a big hug and a belly rub from us....and thanks again, Danielle. xo
Hi Danielle! Thanks for the request...thank you also for your supportive words last night regarding the loss of my Ivan. I really appreciated them. ((((Hugs))))
