  • Well good....evening? I've been out all day and just saw your message! Giles is a fantastic name and that totally just made me smile :) Giles the cat just sounds like he'd have to be smarter than the average cat!
Maybe there weren't many corns because they are so common in the pet stores or simply the fact that there probably aren't numerous amounts of breeders of them in this area. Hopefully this next time around if we go a little earlier we'll spot some.

I have a feeling it's going to be difficult for me to NOT bring another one home!
Well, we went late in the day - so a lot of the stock was gone I think. But it was nice. Small, but friendly - and a lot of variations. I was actually surprised at the lack of corns - but that might have just been the going late part. Its the first one I've been too though, so I'm not really the best to judge!
My BF does not like snakes... He tolerates Elvie, enjoys looking at her while she's in the cage - but other than that he really really despises her! ha. He is NOT going to be taking this trip, that is for sure :)
Most definitely it'll be great to have another friend in the hobby, especially in the Midwest, most of the people I see online are in the south! I've lucked out that my hubby actually does love snakes as well, but not many other people I know do. My friend that I'm bringing doesn't actually like snakes, but she loves to learn and is super open-minded, she's even held my boas! I'm excited to be able to introduce her to the hobby a little more.

By the by, how was the expo when you went this past march? I figure the shows should be about the same so what the first one was like should be a pretty good indicator...
