  • I was not aware of the vine snake having rear fangs. Thanks. I am sure I will catch you up there at a later date.
    Hey Buzz,
Sorry to have missed you this weekedn as well. With all the rain and everything, I had to blast off pretty quick. I'm sure we wil meet up there eventually. Probably when I start vending in a month or so.
Well, I'm gald you liked the show. Lik I said, it's not a giant show, but it's fun. Actually, this was a slow month from what I've seen. Could have been the weather as well???
The Vine Snake is a rear fanged snake with a mild venom, like the hognose.
I'm sure you will see lots more inthe upcoming months as things start to hatch.

    Take care, Walter
Walter, sorry I missed you at the reptile show. I thought it was well worth the drive. I ended up spending and saving some money on rodent food and a new cage lid. Saw some neat reptiles. I assume the reason there was not a lot of corns, was it because most eggs haven't hatched out?? Also a vendor there had a vine snake. Aren't they venomous? Just wondering I know the web site stated there were to be no venomous snakes.
Walter have you been to the Dixie Reptile show? I was thinking of visiting it this weekend. Is it worth a 2 1/2 hr drive? Just curious and again thanks for helping me out with that corn I found.
Walter, I live in Troy AL. I found a corn at the mouse sheds door. Is this normal looking for Alabama.(I moved from FL last Aug)I posted the pics in the Natural history section under looky looky what I found. Nanci said that you might have seen this coloration.
