Anyone want a FREE cornsnake? :)

Well, 3 more days for people to put their numbers in, but a winner will be announced once all of them hatch. It shouldn't be too much longer, though! I just figured I'd put a deadline on how long people can guess so that I can start letting you guys know how many are hatching. :)

Just in case there are some that haven't been following thread #2, so far the hatchling count is 55. I ran into some problems this year (one mama died before laying, a couple didn't lay as expected, etc), so the numbers aren't as high as I was hoping. At least I still have several, though! :) I am waiting on two more clutches, which are due to hatch any day, and then I will announce a winner!

Thread #2 with all hatchie info: http://www.cornsnakes.com/forums/showthread.php?t=101467

There are 20 something in one, and I believe 17 in the other JCP clutch. However, the mama JCP managed to pop some eggs when coiling around them, which caused mold on some of the others. Therefore, i don't think all of that clutch is going to make it...I definitely haven't had the best of luck this year!

The final snakelings hatched this morning!! Congratulations to wretchedprocess for guessing the total, 79 hatchlings! Thank you everyone for playing and being so patient while waiting for my late clutches to hatch. :)

Hee! I'm so excited! I seriously *never* win anything, and what better prize could there possibly be than a baby snake?! This is going to be the best housewarming present *ever*! :D

And just so everyone knows, I have looked at Laura's website, and she has some GORGEOUS carpet pythons and BRB's which might, just might, be ready to breed next year... I am definitely waiting for that!

Congrats! That's great! Be sure to post pics of the one you pick.

I better stay away from Laura's website...I went from 1 to 3 IJ's in 2 weeks. (of course, they are babies) :)

Oh, you're safe from the rainbow boas for now-- they weren't big enough to breed this year. But if jungle carpet pythons are your taste, there will soon be some of those available...

*enabler* :dgrin:

Enabler is right! LOL
I'm personally not into the boa's & bigger pythons. I like 'em ok, just won't own any. I like....wait scratch that...*love* the carpet pythons!
(I'm not going to look....I'm not going to look...) :nope:

Thank you, Vivian! The website is in major need of updating, but at least most of the parent snakes are on there (minus several corns). I will probably have baby pictures up on my iherp page (under Sherrod Serpents) before the website, but they will eventually be there! :)
