I've never participated but it sounds like fun. My husband and I do something similar every year and it's fun.
 
I used to do it a few years ago - was a ton of fun!! Last few years seems I always forgot to make my picks. Anyways, not up for playing, but definitely up for a donation.

Put me down for a prize donation: I will donate a TBD snake (probably a sulfur or caramel blood depending on what hatches) with winner responsible for shipping.
