A quick question on orange colour

limey

hi i am a cornsnakeoholic
this week i had a few more hatchlings pip and come out into the big wide world. There dads a amel stripe and there moms a miami phase normal who happens to be double het (ie amel and aney) so as you would expect there are some amels. Whats interesting is that one of them is orange (normal patern etc) and the simple question i am really getting to is it possible to have orange amles corns with no emoryi blood in them and if so do orange amels often come from miami snakes ???

Thanks

Amels have a large range of color shades and varieties. Some examples...sunglow and candycane. Just look at the many pics of amels in the Photo Gallery. And you can have a wide variety hatch out from the same clutch, especially when you're not specifically breeding the same particular variety together...and even that is no guarantee. Just ask anyone who has tried!
