A Snickersnake kind of day!

Took Hadrian out for a quick few pictures today. He's going to be a year old next month. He weighed in at 103 empty today. He's really looking like his daddy, I'm very happy about that!

Then I got one of my other Snickersnakes, Vixen, out to feed and clean her cage and she immediately and firmly decided that she just had to be a belt!
Took a good while to convince her to leave that dream behind.
At one point, she managed to get herself through all but one of my belt loops!
Did make it easy for me to grab a string and get a fairly accurate length on her, she's approx 39 inches.

She's the first of my snakes to ever discover the joys of belt loops, they usually head for my hair instead.

Pardon the crummy cell phone pictures.

Yeah, from a Candycane to outcrossed pairing, so hadn't been sure what he'd look like. I'm super happy that it appears he's going to keep the Candycane look. His dad is named Big Moose, he's Nanci's. If you search that name, there should be pictures of him. So far Hadrian looks a lot like him.

Lol on pardon the cruddy cell phone pics. Just like the rest of ours cell phone pics,he he. . Love your new fashion accessory Vixen as well as Hadrian who remains amazing.

Both beautiful! Very funny pics of "Vixen the Belt" !!

Mine's never done this - although she does usually go for the hair. Her new thing is wrapping around my glasses until she pulls them off :)

Actually, all the pics I see are of pretty good quality. The first 6 or 7 are actually AWESOME!! Whatta BEAUTIFUL SNAKE!!!

Thanx for sharing!!

BTW, is that an iPhone 6s?

The pictures of Hadrian were taken with our Nikon D60 DSLR and macro lens.

The ones of Vixen were with my new phone, a Samsung Galaxy S7. I just replaced my old Galaxy S3 two weeks ago. I'm disappointed with these because this phone has a better camera and I have gotten much better pictures using it. But I apparently still really need to learn how to use it to it's capability.

I hear ya! It's almost like you need a PhD in order to figure out how to use some of these seemingly simple apps. Still, not too shabby for a cellphone camera!

I have an iPhone 6s+ and actually LOVE it, including the camera (finally broke down and got one after YEARS of swearing off Apple products in favor of MS-compatible devices until the LAST STRAW was being transferred ONE TOO MANY TIMES to a well-intentioned & seemingly polite "tech support representative" who could NOT navigate the English language past the list she was reciting from to save her LIFE and after she asked me how I was feeling today for the seventh time despite my inability to stop the foam from frothing around my mouth and from seeping into the mouthpiece of my phone as I was trying NOT to yell!!!).

Think maybe I over-reacted a little?

In any event, thanx for the really swell pix!!! :)
