When I had my first corn snake a few years ago, the local pet shop refused to sell me pinkies. They thought I was going to use them as snake food. (Duh!) I said to them, "Okay ... " and looked around at all the mice and found the biggest most pregnant mouse I could find and said, "In that case, I'd like to get THAT one." So from then on I raised mice and had them in all sizes. Of course, now I don't need to do that, with all the choices available!
 
well i know what you mean i couldn't find a pet store that sold pinkies so i got mice for breeding and now i don't have to pay $6.00 each time i feed my snakes this help me out so much and i get different colors that you can't get from the pet store

The only reason I haven't done that is because I don't think I could bring myself to kill them!! Do you guys freeze them alive or how do you do it?
