Bloodred/pewter question

limey

hi i am a cornsnakeoholic
i have been told that bloodred corns arent an exact sience as the genes which control bloodred arent just recessive as in amel and aney the up shot of this being that you can breed a bloodred carrier to a normal corn and still get some bloodred phenotypes out of the mix even though the offspring arent full bloodreds - is this true ? and if it is does anyone out there have experaince of this and what dop the het offsrping look like - ie do they miss the belly checks does the pattern meld together like in full blood reds or does it just depend on the indiviual
thanks guys/girls

p.s i just noticed my total lack of fullstops very sorry all hope no one passed out trying to read it all the way though in one breath- but then i guess you lot are clever enough no to have to read out loud like me :D
