Got a late start this year, but that's all right. Nothing to rush around about.

After waiting what seemed like forever after her pre-lay shed, Lilith is finally laying eggs today.

The poor girl is incapable of making small babies, though. Last year, she laid ten good big eggs.

This year, so far, she's laid six and they're just as big. There are more to come.

The picture's from earlier this morning when there were only three.

She's the mother of my candy canes from last year. We're expecting the same this year: Miamis and Candy Canes het motley.
