Corn Snake Head Patterns

How come some corns have the "normal" head pattern with the perfect band across the face and others have just one color or kind of a Tye die effect with a bunch of dots and speckles? Does anyone understand what I am trying to say? I am wondering if it is weird genetics brought on by way too much human interferance through too much selective breeding or just nature?

I believe the tie dye affect you are describing is the head pattern that develops within the Sunkissed line of snakes. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong. :shrugs:
