if you cant get a breeding pair the exact same age and length/weight, do you suggest having a larger male or female?

is it even that big of a deal? is it something i need to be really worrying about? or will a years difference give or take make THAT much of a difference?

I don't think it matters as long as the female is big enough to be bred. The general consensus is that a female should be at least 3 foot and 300 grams before breeding her.

yep, im not sure if it was you that told me the req's yesterday...but somebody did. if it was you, then thanks again
