This is the first time my corn has shed, since I bought it. I think this is what a shed should look like, I was very happy when I woke up this morning to find this shed.

Nice, looks good from here. Check it at the eyes and make sure the part that covered the eyes is there, but it probably is. Check your snakes tail tip, also.

Congratulations, that looks like a really good first shed to me!

Just have a quick check to make sure the eye caps are present on the shed, they will look like little contact lenses and feel like hard little domes, then make sure the tail tip is there, it looks like it is by your pic. If they are there PERFECT!

Best wishes,

I am new to snakes, I have a baby albino, at what age should I expect the first shed? He has been with me 10 days , ate a pinkie this AM, seems to be doing well. Does speed of growth effect shedding?
Thanks
Jack

Both the eye caps are on the shed, and I checked the tail, and there is no leftover skin there either. Thanks for all the comments.
