gestation time in mice

I'll start by telling you my situation. On October 13th I bought 2 mice to start a feeder colony, M/F exactly a month later on November 13th the doe gave birth to 5 babys, all survived. I euthanized 4 and kept one female to grow. The doe is clearly pregnant again, and the new addition doing well. I keep them all in the same aquarium and do not separate.
I've read some varying amounts asto the gestation time, 22-28 days + a few for the female to return to heat. I am probably mistaken as this seems to be wrong in my case. It is now the 19th of December and I am wondering when she will give birth.
As well if i keep the new mouse in the tank throughout, how long until i can expect her to produce offspring?
Thanks

Hey Rave,

Gestation time is 18 to 24 days and an unpregnant female goes into heat every 3 to 6 days.

Yes, you can keep all 3 of the mice together and I would bet you will see the young looking pregnant in a both 2 weeks. If she does not I would get a new female.

Love the Fatman

If you have a 24 day to gestation and every 6 days in heat and the male did not breed the first time she was in heat. You are looking at 36 or more days.
