Hey is Arty still on sand? She doing okay on that stuff? Last time I heard it dries out scales and causes impaction.

It's normal sand that causes impaction, this stuff is great- haven't had any problems.
 
The stuff I use is calcium sand from T-Rex. At some point I'll probably change to wood chips though cos this stuff is a bit dry (not unhealthily dry though). It's great at absorbing poops as well. I've used it for a couple of years now and haven't had any problems.
 
cant the sand get caught inder the sclaes cuasing stress to the snake? i use to have sand to but i changed quick. another bad thing is if the snkes goes in water it get stuck to him when he gets out so it stinks.
