How many rats can comfortably fit?

Hello, I have decided to not only raise pet rats, but feeders as well for some newly acquired ball pythons. While I'm starting off 1.2, I wonder how many females I can comfortably fit in a 105qt bin? Depending on the answer, I might keep an interesting female or two from one of the litters as a future breeder.

The dimensions of a 105qt bin can vary, but if it's the common size here (less then 3 feet X 2 feet) I wouldnt do more then 1.3.

Depends on how many feeders you need. When bulk breeding my rats, its 1.6 or higher in a smaller space than you think. You want the male to be able to... for lack of a better term... corner his girls and give them no where to run too. With 3 colonies of 1.6 ( approx 20 gallon tank size) you will need to stay on top of cleaning, and I often take a few out to play with( Most of my rats are extremely gentle). Last couple of months I have had a approx 60 rat pups a colony per month.
