Intermontanas

I don't know the exact classification.....

But it is a Great Plains Rat snake.

I think it used to be classified as a sub species of elaphe guttata, but they have recently juggled things around so I'm not so sure. It may now be a subspecies of Emoryi.

oh, you come from the uk. I bought some intermontanas from someone from there...later I saw that these animals are normal emoryies...no intermontanas.
so later I saw on many pages from people from the uk these normal looking intermontanas.
so my idea is: someone labelt them wrong a few years ago and the result is that they sold a lot of them under tha wrong label over the years. I also told this the breeder but he said they are intermonanas and still sells them under that name...not my problem but I just can give you the tip: if you like what you see buy them but if you want cool intermontanas like Don is selling them forget it!
