Measuring a corn

I don't know if anyone has posted this yet (I tried searching old posts a bit, but didn't see anything), but I just found a nice little program and wanted to share.

I had been just measuring the shed skin, but of course, this is inaccurate since the skin gets stretched out during the shedding process. I just used this program to measure Spyro, and it said he's 18.22 inches. Very cool! Wish I had this when I first got him; I can only guess that he was somewhere around 10 inches, judging from old pics.

It's easy to use, though I wish it had scroll bars. I had to resize the pic for it to fit into the program's window.

Yes, the Snake Measurer is well known on this forum. I think the author used to post here as well.

The only trouble with it is keeping my little girl in one place long enough to take a decent picture of her whole body.

This program is much easier and probably more accurate than a string or tape measure or any other physical method of measuring them.

All you need is a quick low res digital pic from above with any reference object ( I use a foot or so of tape measure)
