i was wondering if this guy is motley?

It doesn't look like it. Does he have belly checkers or is the belly totally clear (white)?

show us the belly!!!! I believe if it has patterns of the motley and has a plain belly...no checkers then yes its probably a Motley. But were going to need better pics....Very nice looking snake though

Asks the obligatory: What does the belly look like?

My guess would be no. There looks to be only one circle that is completely disconnected and distinct in the center of the back like motleys normally show. From what I've seen and read lots of non-motleys and/or motley hets seem to sometimes have one or two ovals that would give a motley appearance when they really aren't.

EDIT: Dang! How did two people beat me, when there wasn't anyone else viewing the thread?

He has nice clear sides, but other than that does not look motley to me at all. Remember when looking at the belly, amel's checkers are very light. I guess it will be obvious if the snake has belly checkers or not though.
